We Bikin: Black Joy Ride- QTPOC Crew Bike Ride Summer Series

we bikin flyer 2.jpg

 We out.

Last Summer we plotted on bikes, hit up Wheel of Time Bikes + Boards in Pilsen for some custom babies + got them just in time to hit up the crew rides with 2wheelgods. Over the last few weeks of our extended Winter, we met with the Southside bike collective to dream up our summer crew bike ride series. We imagined a Black + Brown utopic space for queer folk + POC allies to ride, build community + cultivate holistic wellness; the Black joy ride. Once a month, we will link up + ride out for a safe, pre-routed ride. We'll share a skill or information for Black and Brown folk in the bike community with a pre-ride workshop starting at 6:30 pm. If you are just joining us for the ride, link up time is at 7 pm with a peel off time of 7:30 pm.

*This monthly ride is exclusively for People of Color.

*Bring your lights, helmets + the gear you need for a safe city ride.

*The route is planned for 2 hours, but you can hop in and out as you need to.

*Got a JBL speaker? Bring it! We syncing up for a curated Black joy ride playlist.

*Plans may be adjusted due to weather (shortened ride, cancellations etc.) We'll use social media for real-time updates.
